The 4 days Morocco desert tour description:
- Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes.
4 days Morocco desert tour departure from Casablanca: According to our tour departure time, our English-speaking driver will come to meet us at our accommodation or airport, then depart towards Rabat; The Capital city of Morocco. Upon our arrival, we are going to visit the famous mausoleum of Mohamed 5 and The Tower of Hassan 2. After a while, we are going to continue our private day tour to the Meknes which is known as one of the Morocco Imperial cities. Here, we can see the Mansor gate and continue to the Roman Ruins of Volubilis. According to your choice, we can go on a guided visit to discover the Roman Ruins of Volubilis with one of our English-speaking local guides. The first day of our Morocco desert trip will finish with a drive to Fes where we can check in for our accommodation in a Moroccan riad in Fez Medina.
- Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Middle Atlas – Morocco Desert of Merzouga.
After breakfast, we are going to start another day tour of our 4 day Morocco desert trip by driving from Fes towards the city of Ifrane and then to Azrou Cedar Forest. While we are in the forest, we are going to make a stop to see the Barbarian Apes and feed them before our journey continues.
Once everyone is ready, then we depart to cross the rest of the Middle Atlas mountains on the way to the South-east of Morocco. Passing by the Valley of Ziz to arrive at Merzouga desert. Upon our arrival, we will meet our Camelman who is going to guide our Camel trekking Caravan in the dunes to see an amazing sunset, then return by camels to our Desert Camp for the night… Dinner will be served in the Camp restaurant with night in tents. The camp is fully prepared with a hot shower and private toilet in each tent.
- Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Tinjdad – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley.
Depending on your choice, you might want to wake up earlier to catch an amazing sunrise over the dunes before we have our breakfast…
The 3rd day of our Morocco desert tour will begin with a drive along the Desert fields of Acacia trees on the way to Erfoud city and continue towards the Valley of Todra and to Todra Gorge with an altitude of 300 meters. Here, we can enjoy a short walk in between the canyons.
After a while, we’ll drive towards the Valley of Dades where we can see a natural monument named “Monkey Toes”, and then drive to our accommodation for dinner and night.
- Day 4: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas – Marrakech.
After breakfast, We’ll depart for the 4th day of our Morocco desert trip on the way to approach Marrakech… This journey will take us towards the Rose Valley which is also known as the Valley of Thousand Kasbahs, then join Skoura and Ouarzazate. Here, we will take a short stop to see the Kasbah of Taourirt and drive one of the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou which is classified as a UNESCO Heritage.
Upon our arrival, we will go on a guided visit to discover the Kasbah and have lunch in a local restaurant…
After a while, we are going to Marrakech via the Atlas mountains and crossing the pass of Tizi-N-Tichka with an Altitude of 2600 meters. Upon our arrival, our driver will drop us at our accommodation in Marrakech where our 4 days Morocco desert trip from Casablanca ends.
