The 4 days from Marrakech to Fes desert tour is a Moroccan tour that will take us on an adventure around the High Atlas and the Desert of Merzouga.
Our trip will include a visit to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah with a drive to the desert. We also have a private 4×4 desert excursion to discover the desert’s hidden areas. Our desert tour will include a camel trekking tour in the dunes to see the nice sunset behind the dunes and overnight under a desert luxury camp. The trip continues to Fes via the Middle Atlas mountains.

Marrakech to Fes 4 day tour description:
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Rose Valley – Dades Valley.
The 4 days from Marrakech to Fes desert tour departure will be at 8:00 AM from your accommodation.
Our private driver will take us on a drive towards the High Atlas mountains to discover the beauty of the fabulous Atlas. The first stop will be in one of the Argan workshops to have a short visit and check Argan’s bioproducts.
After some time, we depart to the famous UNESCO heritage Kasbah Ait Benhaddou Kasbah crossing the 2600-meter altitude mountains. Upon arrival, we will meet our English-speaking guide who will accompany us on a guided visit to explore the great monuments of the Kasbah. Once we finish our guided tour, we will have lunch in a local restaurant, then depart for Dades Valley passing by Ouarzazate “The Hollywood of Africa” and Skoura Valley to join the Valley of the Rose. Upon our arrival at the Valley of Dades, we will check in for our Riad with dinner and overnight included.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert.
After breakfast, we start our 2nd desert tour day with a visit to the panoramic Dades Gorge. Then continue to the Valley of Todra to take some photos of the Jewish old houses, and to the Canyons of Todra Gorge to see an amazing 300-meter altitude Gorge.
We will continue our Private tour from there towards the Desert dunes of Merzouga passing by Erfoud including a visit to one of its Marble workshops. Once everyone is ready, we will drive to Merzouga Desert. Upon our arrival, we’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea while checking in for our rooms. Dinner and overnight will be in the rooms.
Day 3: Merzouga 4×4 Excursion – Camel trekking
Our Merzouga 4×4 excursion will start once we have breakfast. departing with a drive along the Desert dunes of Merzouga which also known as Erg Chebbi, a great extension of a sandy desert, where we can find the big dunes of Morocco at 250 meters altitude. Continue driving along the off-road of ‘Rally Dakar’ to visit Tissardmin oasis. Here, we can find fossil quarries still present in the area. Our off-road Private tour continues to visit a nomad family settlement before we go to visit the black people’s village of Khamlia.
In the village of Khamlia, we are going to visit one of the Gnawa music schools and enjoy a dance time with mint tea. Afterward, we continue to a Berber restaurant to have lunch.
After a while, our private driver will take us to our accommodation in Merzouga to get ready for an amazing Camel trekking excursion. Our camelman will take care of us to settle on the back of the camels and depart our Caravan excursion. While we are on the dunes, we will enjoy the sunset of our lifetime, then return by camels to our Luxury desert camp. Here, we will enjoy an amazing evening party with drums in the heart of the dunes with bright stars. Dinner and night in the tents. The camp is fully prepared with a private toilet and a hot shower in each tent.
Day 4: Merzouga to Fes
The 4th day of our Marrakech desert tour to Fes will start with an early sunrise view over the dunes.
Breakfast at the Camp restaurant, then depart for our 4th-day tour towards the Valley of Ziz leaving the desert with great memories. We’ll drive along the green Palm grove of Ziz with its great views of Palm and olive trees. Our driver will stop for us in one of the Valley’s panoramic spots and enjoy the morning view of this valley from the top with a glass of coffee. Our Day desert tour continues again to the Middle Atlas mountains of Morocco, passing by the Apple Capital city of Midelt and taking our lunch stop.
We then approach the Cedar forest of Azrou where we can see the Barbarian apes and take some photos while feeding them. Our journey continues towards the final destination which is Fes City passing by Ifrane “The Switzerland of Morocco”. Upon our arrival at Fes, our private driver will drop us at our accommodation where our 4 days Desert tour finishes.
