Casablanca Marrakech tour 8 day overview:

Within our 8 days tour from Casablanca, we will discover the Imperial cities of Morocco such as Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes and Fes. Our desert tour will also include a drive to Merzouga desert dunes with a great experience of Camel trekking in the sand dunes with an overnight under a luxury camp in Merzouga. Afterward, we will travel to visit Todra and Dades canyons with a visit to the UNESCO world heritage of Ait Benhaddou. Our desert trip will finish in Marrakech with a guided visit of the red city and a free transfer to the airport in the next day according to our itinerary.

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fez.

Once you have breakfast, our English-speaking driver will come to meet us and depart for our 5 days Casablanca tour. We’ll drive along the ocean road to approach Rabat “The kingdom’s capital city”. Upon our arrival, we will visit the Kasbah of Oudaya, which belongs to the twelfth century with its Andalusian gardens, then visit Bab Shella, and Hassan Tower. We’ll have lunch in one of the capital restaurants, then continue driving towards the city of Meknes “The 2nd Moroccan imperial city”. Here, we will visit the gate of Bab Mansour to take some special photos of the gate. After a while, we will head to visit Volubilus “The Roman ruins of Morocco”. Here, you can have the option to go on a guided visit to Volubilis. After a while, we will drive to Fes where we will check in for our rooms with dinner and overnight in a Moroccan traditional accommodation.

Day 1: Casablanca- Rabat- Chefchaouen.

After breakfast, we will meet our driver at our accommodation, then depart for our 8 days Casablanca tour via Sahara. Starting our first journey with a visit to the mosque of Hassan 2 in the ocean of Casablanca. This mosque is the first that allows non-Muslims to visit. After a while, we will continue driving to Rabat “the administrative capital of Morocco”.
Upon our arrival, we visit the monuments of Bab Shella, Hassan Tower, and its Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Our visit continues to the royal palace and the Oudaya Kasbah. After we finish our Rabat visits, we will drive over the Rif Mountains willing to approach the blue city of Chefchaouen. Upon our arrival, we will check in for our accommodation rooms.

Day 2: Chefchaouen visit – Rif mountains – Fes

Once we have breakfast, we will go for a walking visit to discover the blue city of Chefchaouen for half a day. After you have lunch, we will drive towards the city of Fes over the Rif mountains. Upon our arrival, we will check in for our Moroccan Riad rooms. Dinner and overnight in the heart of Fes city.

Day 3: Fes guided visit with our English-speaking guide.

After we have breakfast, our English-speaking local guide will come to meet us and take us on a guided visit to discover Fes city. Fes is an intellectual capital with the largest old Medina in the world. In Fes, we will see numerous monuments which have thousands of stories to tell visitors, the Jemaa Karaouyine “the first university to be established in the world”, The Maderssa of Bounania, the El tanneries and artisan quarters, and the fascinating souks are just some of the many places to see. Overnight in the same riad.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou Cedar forest – Midelt – Ziz Palm Grove – Merzouga desert dunes.

Once we take breakfast, we get ready to depart for our desert journey, driving from Fes towards the city of Ifrane “The Switzerland of Morocco”, then to Azrou Cedar forest. Here, we will stop to see the Berber apes and take some photos. After some time we will drive towards the middle Atlas mountains. enjoying the panoramic views of mountainous villages before we approach the city of Midelt “The Apple Capital of Morocco”. Here, we will take a stop for lunch, then continue our desert day tour towards the South-east. 2 hours before we arrive at the desert dunes, we will take a stop at the Ziz Palm grove ” a Valley of thousands of Palm and Olive trees. We can take a short stop to take some photos of the Valley, then drive to the desert dunes. Upon arrival at the desert, we will go on our camel trekking experience with our camel man to see the amazing sunset on the top of the sand dunes. We then return for our evening party and overnight under the tents. Our luxury camps are fully prepared with private toilets and showers.

Day 5: Merzouga desert dunes – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Dades Gorge.

Since we are in the heart of the sand dunes, we will take the opportunity to wake up earlier in the morning to see the sunrise over the sand dunes. Afterward, we will have breakfast, then depart for our 5th-day trip.

We’ll drive along the desert fields of Acacia trees including a stop at one of the nomad families to discover their wild lifestyle. Afterward, we will continue driving toward the city of Erfoud and to Tinghir where we can visit the Todra Valley and its amazing canyons with an altitude of 300 Meters. After a while, we continue driving to Dades Valley where we can see the Monkey toes rocks, and head to Dades Gorge for overnight in our Riad.

Day 6: Dades Gorge – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast in our Riad, we will depart for our 6th-day tour by driving towards the Rose Valley which is also known as “The Valley of thousand kasbahs”, because of its houses forms. Then continue to the city Ouarzazate “The Hollywood of Africa”. In this city, we will visit Taourirt Kasbah and the Cinema Studio. After some time, we will drive to approach the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, one of the UNESCO heritage located in the foothills on the southern slopes. Here, our driver or guide will accompany us on a walking visit to this breathtaking Kasbah, walking in its alleys and stairs and rocks. After a while, we will return for lunch in one of the local restaurants.

Once we have lunch, we will depart towards the city of Marrakech through the High Atlas mountains and Tizi N Tichka pass at 2600 Meters altitude. Upon our arrival at Marrakech, we will check in for our accommodation rooms with dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Marrakech guided visit

Once we have our breakfast, we will meet our English-speaking local guide who will take us on a walking guided visit to discover the red city of Marrakech.

Visiting the most attractive sights and monuments in Marrakech, including Bahia Palace, Koutoubia mosque, Saadian tombs, Jamaa El Fanaa square as well as exploring the traditional Souk of the city. Some time in the after, we might go to visit the famous Majorelle Garden, Menara Garden. Afterward, we will drive back to our Riad. The rest of the journey will be free to discover the red city as you like.

Day 8: Marrakech – Transfer to the airport 

According to the schedule of your flight, we will come to your accommodation to pick you up to the airport where 8 days Casablanca tour comes to end.
